Our NC organic farm is nestled on four acres in the mountains of Ashe County, North Carolina, near West Jefferson. We have grown organic fruits, herbs and vegetables for over 35 years.

Big Horse Creek Farm
We specialize in the collection and propagation of antique and heirloom apple varieties of the Appalachian Mountains as well as many other apple varieties of the world.

Blue Ridge Organics
We grow organic produce in Eastern Ashe County such as Tatsoi, Bok Choy, Swiss Chard, Carrots, Leeks, Squash and Spinach. In addition to fresh vegetables, we also raise and sell Red Worms (Eisenia fetida) and European Nightcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis). Worm Castings, a natural organic fertilizer, are also available.
