A Good Piece of Ashe Bakery
Welcome to the Domske Farm in Ashe County, North Carolina. The Domske Farm encompasses over 100 acres of fields and woods that lie along the banks of the New River. A small portion of the farm is cultivated with a market garden, pastures, an orchard and a pick-your-own berry patch. Most of the farm's acreage is home to an abundance of wildlife such as Eastern Wild Turkeys, Whitetail Deer, Red Foxes, bobcats and
black bears to name a few. They sell their home grown produce at the Ashe County Farmer's Market in West Jefferson from April-October.

Cheryl Williams founded Grassy Creek Pottery in 1998 upon moving to the mountains of North Carolina. Cheryl joined together with a number of artists in Ashe County, and they founded the county’s first cooperative gallery. For eight years the gallery was a large part of her pottery life. Heritage Homestead Goat Dairy
Heritage Homestead Goat Dairy is nestled on 17 acres in the mountains of Ashe County just outside of Jefferson, North Carolina. Carol and Lon Coulter purchased the old Florence Kelly home place in 1994, which had been a working cow dairy until the early 70s. To help clear the briars and brambles that had taken over the farm, the Coulters purchased goats. One thing led to another and soon enough Carol was milking goats and taking cheese classes. For the last 6 years the Coulters have worked toward becoming a licensed dairy and in January of 2009 Heritage Homestead was licensed.

Joe’s wife, Beverly, presents pressed, Ashe County flowers arranged in frames. Initials made from her flowers can be special ordered.
